Terms of Service

1. Eligibility and community rules

You must be permitted to use the Services under the laws that apply to you and must meet the minimum age required by Discord, Minecraft, and any other platform you use. If you are under the age of legal majority, a parent or guardian should review these Terms with you.

You must also follow the rules posted in the NovaTiers Network Hub and individual testing servers. Server-specific rules form part of these Terms.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Services. This includes cheating, evading bans, impersonating others, manipulating rankings, submitting false information, harassing users or staff, disrupting our systems, scraping the Services in a harmful way, or attempting unauthorized access.

We may remove content, correct rankings, restrict access, or suspend users when reasonably necessary to protect the community, enforce our rules, or comply with legal obligations.

3. Rankings and testing

Rankings, tiers, scores, and test results reflect our methods and the information available at the time. Staff may correct mistakes, investigate suspicious results, and update or remove a result. A ranking is not a permanent entitlement and may change as our systems, rules, or player data change.

4. Your submissions

You keep ownership of content you submit. You give NovaTiers a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, adapt, and display that content only as reasonably needed to operate, moderate, promote, and improve the Services. You confirm that you have the right to submit it.

5. NovaTiers content

The NovaTiers name, design, site code, graphics, original text, and other original materials are owned by NovaTiers or its contributors and may not be copied, sold, or redistributed without permission, except where the law allows. Minecraft, Discord, and other third-party names and assets belong to their respective owners.

6. Third-party services

The Services may link to or rely on third-party platforms, including Discord, Minecraft/Mojang/Microsoft, and avatar-rendering or hosting providers. Their terms and privacy practices apply separately. NovaTiers is an independent community and is not endorsed by or affiliated with those platforms unless expressly stated.

7. Availability and disclaimers

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not promise that they will always be available, secure, accurate, or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the Services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

8. Changes and termination

We may update the Services or these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Your continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. You may stop using the Services at any time; provisions that reasonably should survive termination will remain in effect.

9. Governing rules

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where the NovaTiers operator is established, without overriding any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve a dispute informally.
